In line with the Bhutan ICT Policy and Strategies (BIPS) of July 2004 approved by the CCM and with the advent of Internet into the Kingdom in 1999, ICT has become one of the main tools of our country’s development strategy to promote efficiency, transparency and accountability in governance. Therefore, ICT now plays an important and positive role in realization of Gross National Happiness. Our website is also developed in line with the policies and strategies in the BIPS to enhance good governance in achieving the ultimate goal of Gross National Happiness.

Haa Dzongkhag being one of the smallest among 20 Dzongkhags, we are privileged to provide first hand information through easy access and community interaction. All information provided here in our web site will be authenticated before it is being posted.

With the launch of each dzongkhag web site, information and services are easily available to our general public, researchers, planners and decision makers alike at the Dzongkhag, national and international level. All tenders, announcements, news and events will be posted in our web site.
